EDUCATOR

Kaitlyn has a passion for bodywork and women’s health. She has been a practicing massage therapist for the past 18 years and has tailored her career to healing touch for women's health. Throughout her career she has worked alongside midwives, doulas and lactation consultants, gaining an in-depth knowledge of how nurturing touch can help through the transition to motherhood.  To further support women's health, Kaitlyn teaches prenatal and postpartum yoga with a YT200 certificate and has a certificate in Holistic Nutrition.

In addition to massage therapy, education has been at the forefront of her career.  With a Masters degree in Biomedical Science, she has enjoyed being a science instructor for Baker College, Arizona School of Integrative Studies and now SOMA!  In combination with her knowledge in science and bodywork, she hopes to deliver research that supports massage therapy as a vital complementary therapy to support women's health, specifically for  prenatal and postpartum care.  Residing in Traverse City, Michigan, you can find her enjoying the outdoors and foodie destinations with her family.
