Meet Marin

EDUCATOR

Hello friends! My name is Marin Wood. I am a lover of nature, gardening, cooking, books, and snuggly movie nights with my husband, our 4 amazing kiddos (17, 15, twins 8), and our 3 giant floof dogs. I’ve been a therapeutic bodywork practitioner for over 20 years, a yoga teacher and wellness studio owner since 2021, and a member of the Central Michigan community for most of my life. I am also a forever student in all things movement and manual therapy!

Throughout the years my career has taken on a trajectory of heart-forward continuous improvement, driven by evidence- and research-based practices in adaptive, integrative, and inclusive bodywork therapies to assist others navigating triumphs, challenges, and the many seasons of this human experience.

During my time as a licensed massage therapist I have had the opportunity to work in various manual therapy settings: from holistic retreats, to physical therapy offices and pain clinics, to working with special populations, and private practice where my heart truly flourishes! All of this education and wisdom come together to form a very unique, adaptive, and transformative, person-centered approach to manual therapy.

It is my highest honor to “bring to the table” a creative solutions, whole-self, wellness-oriented experience—deeply rooted in empowerment, inclusion, safety, and education.
